New Member Class Names
OK if you "name" your New Member Classes in Greek letters, what is your current New Member Class' name?
ZTA at Winthrop is on Beta Beta and our next new member class is Beta Gamma.
ETA: My New Member class name is Alpha Omega. I rushed and was initiated in the Fall of 2001.

Well, if my calculations are correct (we have lost A LOT of history of time) my pledge class should be technically by Beta Tau.
Even though we're 32 years old we've not been able to pull many classes. Good ole Rio just loooooooooves banning the Greek system from have pledge classes...

I'm part of the Omega class, and we just initiated Beta Zeta this semester. (Note, we followed Alpha Phi's house naming convention, so there was no Alpha Alpha, Alpha Beta, etc. We skipped directly from Omega to Beta Alpha.)

I'm a BX, this last semester was Beta Omega. This is, of course, ignoring our 102 years a local.

After 106 years of existence, my chapter lost out on the class name thing -- I suppose the Zeta Theta Eta Pi pledge class thing got a little tiring. I wonder what we would be on if we had kept track for all these years, though.
I heard that at least the NPC sororities were trying to move away from pledge class names -- does anybody know anything about this?

I don't know if its a NPC thing or not, but we aren't supposed to. I'm a Nu and we were told to stop naming our classes after mine. Our alum however still keep track in their alum chapter. So if a newer sister wanted to find out what class she would be, if we did continue naming, they could find out from certain alum or perhaps for example if they knew my class they could just go through the alphabet. which.....
sssssh don't tell but but our Fall '03 group would be the sigma class
