You need to ask members of your organization.

It seems from your own organization's website, you already know the answers to this question.
BTW... please learn the difference between "were" & "we're".

well we have already spoke about it and we are all really interested in doing it. but since most of us are new and our alumni sisters don't help us much we don't know where to start.

Where is a .gif of a silver platter when we need one??
From the Eta Omega Tau web site, which you are apparently unfamliar with:
If you are interested in starting a chapter of Eta Omega Tau Sorority, Incorporated, please contact our Director of Expansion by e-mail at expansion@PinknBlack.org

Also, I strongly suggest you take some English classes prior to graduating from college. You're going to need it at some point in your life.

Alumnae.
I agree with DZsis&mom and thetalady. Even your sorority's home page shows that you all are eager to get new chapters and new members.
However, I do not blame you for coming to Greekchat because apparently that is what you all are being indirectly or directly taught to do. Ninety-five percent of the Greek-related threads on Greekchat would not exist if people used the resources already available instead of lazily coming to Greekchat for us to feed them answers. If more usernames were told to go away and research, fewer usernames would come here for us to tell them about their own organization.

An alumnus can also be a former member, employee, contributor or inmate as well as a former student.[2][3] In addition, an alumna (pl. alumnae) is "a female graduate or former student of a school, college, or university".[4] If a group includes both genders, even if there is only one male, the plural form alumni is used.
Is English taught at this University?

You do not have to go that far but since you did, merriam-webster.com is better than wikipedia.

alum·na noun \ə-ˈləm-nə\
plural alum·nae
Definition of ALUMNA
1
: a girl or woman who has attended or has graduated from a particular school, college, or university
2
: a girl or woman who is a former member, employee, contributor, or inmate
See alumna defined for English-language learners »

Because I think you are pretty cool!

I just do not want merriam-webster to be completely taken over by wikipedia.

I was truthfully just trying to ask a question. What is the need for all the rude comments? Just like Dr.Phil said i did come to this site because i thought that you all would now more about it then me. No reason to jump on my case...

I'm baffled why you thought that strangers on the internet who are not members of your sorority would know more about how to start a chapter of your sorority than your own sorority's leadership.

Exactly. This isn't exclusive to this poster, but it never ceases to amaze me when folks ask others for information about their organizations.
