KEF's Live Recruitment Story
Hi! My school’s formal recruitment starts this Friday and I love reading everyone’s recruitment stories so I thought I would share my own. None of my family is greek so I originally knew nothing about greek life or rush, but with the help of Greek Chat and my school’s site I am really excited. My rush is spread over two weekends and our classes start in between. I am trying to go in with an open mind so I do not know too much about each sorority’s reputations. We have 13 sororities and around 850 girls rushing, so it is not super competitive.

KEF: Good luck! I know which school you attend based on my own volunteering with the school, and I must say I'm excited to have a recruitment story from there. I can't wait to read your story, and I hope for a happy ending!!! Good luck!

Thanks everyone! (And gogreekmom, sounds like you probably do know!) I just went to dinner with my recruitment group and after we walked to the “Go Greek Night.” We did not really learn anything new from the meeting (except we are one of the biggest groups of pnm’s to go through rush at my school) but I meet a lot of nice/cool girls in my group.
Rush starts tomorrow and we see half the houses for Open House Round; unfortunately I do not know which houses and the order I am going to them yet. It’s supposed to be REALLY cold here tomorrow so I am bundling up a lot. Starting to get nervous but also really excited!
Since I have a big sweet tooth I decided to have candy codenames!
