He'd have to reply to himself. Could be fun.

Although you aren't talking about me, since I never had a reason to dislike you, those who ignored you did avail. You have chilled out considerably since you first began posting. Exactly why you've chilled out can't be proven and doesn't matter.

Seriously Tom. I asked you about the S&G and TPU thing. You never answered me though. I'm not trying to be mean to you or anything, I'm just curious.

THE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

I know that some of you don't like to read long drawn out missives ,so here's the executive summary.........

Congress Military
John McCain 26 Years 22 Years

Barrack Obama 143 days 0

Just think how great a professional of any kind you could be with only 143 days of experience!!!

People want change so badly? . . . . maybe we should lower the experience requirement for doctors, lawyers, airline pilots, etc. This would cause some change!

Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory Committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

The one single Senate committee that he headed never even met -- once.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

Think about it.......143 days -- 20.4 weeks -- 4.7 months ...

Our children spend more time in pre-school getting ready for kindergarten.
Tom - if you really cared about what people thought about this issue, there are a bunch of other ways to bring it up. For instance, you could have started a topic, "Does national experience matter to you in voting for President?" Or, "Does it matter to you that McCain has more public office experience than Obama?" Or, any number of other ways of asking the experience question...

Now, I've only been on here since the beginning of 2001, so maybe you won't listen to me...and if you're upset at me, you can report me to my national headquarters, or whatever...but you posted a forward that doesn't say a whole heck of a lot, and you got angry when people criticized the posting. You have to understand why people get upset at your posting of forwards, right?

Here you go, back at ya, Tom. There are plenty of pro-and-anti-candidate opinion pieces out there that can be bandied about, at least I can provide a link and source for mine:

Is McCain Another George W. Bush?

Does anyone else think not having been in Washington for forever is kind of a really good thing?

I honestly don't think it matters at all - the "new guy" and "experienced leader" angles are both overplayed way too much.

Millions of people do - it's why Obama can pimp the "change" and "hope" angles even though he's absolutely 0% different from previous candidates. In the end, though, it's not the time in DC that's the problem - it's slavishness to the current system and machinery, and neither current candidate shows any desire to escape the machinations, to my mind.

You summed it up nicely!
