It really wasn't that big of a deal. I think some GC people are a little sensative.

I just got elected to an exec position (sgt. at arms) tonight, my best friend is VP Rit, and my roommate is VPM.

I'm really excited! I think everyone on our new exec board ended up where they best fit.

Any of you who do so, please pray for my baby niece Ava. She's 6 months old and going for her 2nd heart surgery on Tuesday morning. Apparently things are worse than anyone thought, because they say that if she makes it through the surgery, she'll be in the hospital for 6-8 months.

A little late with the update, but... her surgery ended up being a lot more involved than expected (basically because if it wasn't, she wouldn't have made it), but she's ok now. she'll still be in the hospital for a really long time, but there's a better outlook than before!

in other news, i HATE my job!!!! ugh...

i'm also actually kind of bummed that i messed up my calendar, and i'll be away this weekend, missing my chapter's 40th anniversary stuff this weekend. and another chapter's initation. and our friends' wedding. and an adpi founders day brunch. on the plus side, i'll be in florida, and at a bon jovi concert, so it's really not all *that* bad!

I have to give a web-wide congrats to my chapter--Kappa Gamma--and all the sisters that worked hard for this.

On Monday, April 28th, our chapter recieved the OVERALL EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD from UNCG. Wooohooooo!!!

We beat out 2 D-9s, ADPi, Lamba Chi Alpha and Panhellenic Council!

It's the first full year we've been affiliated with the university and the first award we've ever applied for. Our service head worked really hard to take our chapter's service to the next level.

I was awarded the Sword of Honor last night along with two other sisters. YAY! I was so surprised. I wasn't expecting it at all!

We had a sister wedding last night. Singing the chorale and benediction for her and her husband was amazing and so special. I cant wait to have the sisters sing at mine! I am dating a Sinfonian right now, so you never know I might have the brothers sing to me also. lol

So I quit my job yesterday. It was past the point of ridiculous, with the things I was getting chewed out for (that were either not my fault, not even related to anything in my job description, or completely OUT THERE). If anyone knows of anyone in the Philadelphia area hiring for anything cool, let me know......
