I'm an alum a few years out and it's been that way as long as I remember. Not sure how it got started. I know it can cause some consternation trying to locate a white dress in February in Baltimore, though...

Today was Bid Day at Towson University! I graduated recently, so I've been reduced to facebook stalking now, haha. It's hard to believe that only a few years ago I received a bid as a founding sister and today my chapter welcomed home our Epsilon class of new pearls!

They switched to spring formal recruitment at Towson or was this informal?

Yup, you are correct! With the addition of the new GA, Towson now has spring formal recruitment and fall informal. I have yet to hear what quota was, but Panhell reported there was a turnout of about 400 pnms this year.

This is a new Tri Delta chapter established in 2010. I think their last class may have been 40 new members.
