I have the perfect fundraising idea, it's worked very very well in my private school.
Our private high school and elementary school always had problems with
our fundraisers in the past. Most of them would take too much work,
and parents were spending a lot of their own time and money to help us work all the different fundraisers. Last year our private school found this company http://www.FundRaisingPrintStore.com that has gives you an ONLINE PRINT STORE, for all of the items that we had to print anyways. They also gave us 15% commission on ALL ORDERS put through our private
school's branded site, and we did not have to do anything! We even got
our business cards for our staff loaded in the site, and it saved us time and money using our own print shop.
I think this'll suit your school well.

They have a special offering for private schools which I got through a
friend. Go to http://www.fundraisingprintstore.com...te-school.html
to get the discounted rate

GOOD LUCK!!!

You might want to consider ExchangeFundraising.com.

It works by people donating broken and unwanted gold or silver jewelry like chains, earrings, pins, etc. and the organization receives all the money. There's no costs for the donor or the Sorority and the only work involved is handing out the fundraising Pac-Its which are customized for your Sorority and specific cause for free.

You can get a free kit to review it here or call 877-722-4801.

U can try selling candy bars, if U have a Sam's Club or Gordon Food Services u can go there and buy a box of candy for like $25-$30 and most of them have anywhere from 40-51 bars that U sell for $1 each. That can bring in money for your chapter, you also look into like Krispy Kreme i know they do fundraiser stuff, also.

Something For The Brothers-Fraternity

If you are in need of capitalization, why not combine car washing, soda pop and pizza. I do not know to many brothers that can not resist beautiful sisters , food and pop. You could have your cake and eat it to.

I am sure you have discount soda pop and pizza restaurants in your area. You could charge $ 2.50 for a chees and pep, $ 3.00 for a combo and charge 1.25 for the soda pop.

make the point that you need repairs to property and needs of the sisiters.

Thank You,

Todd

Bake sale, candy sale, etc.. I've been trying to think of a good fundraiser to propose to the brotherhood so we can have a few extra parties this semester, but I'd rather do it without adding pounds to my fellow collegians. Have people actually had success with _____-a-thons as fundraisers (not philanthropy) in the past? How do you convince people you are a worthy cause to donate money to with all the much more pressing causes out there?

The Fundraiser that Works!

I have used the new GBG Fundraiser. I like the idea that it pays 50% and is using something that is healthy instead of cookies and candy bars.

I have the perfect fundraiser for a college dorm/fraternity/sorority

There is currently a product that is sweeping the Northwest and is quickly crossing the US at a very rapid pace. It is a well known fact that any object that has a flame is not authorized in dorms/fraternities/sororities/retirement facilities/assisted living facilities, etc. However, this new product is a Deluxe "Scents for Schools" Warmer. If you would like a fundraising packet sent to you - please email me at scentsforschools@gmail.com or call and leave a message with your address at 1-800-884-0690. This is a product that is replacing the common "candle" - provides a safe alternative, and makes is a very decorative household item that will fit in any decor. There are currently over 45 different "warmer" styles.

Average student will earn $33 for the fundraiser. For 100 students/sorority/fraternity members = $3300.

Thanks,

Ron Rueppel

No Cost, No Obligation Fund Raising!

My Name is Terry Nicholson and I run a small company that is trying to help out Schools, Churches and other Non-Profit Organizations with their Fund Raising Needs. My company offers a FREE, no cost, no obligation fund raising program.
Our fund raising service is straight forward. You are never under any obligations. You have two programs in which to start your drive.

Any fulfillment program should always provide exceptional value for your fundraiser. The program you select must deliver a high quality product and service. Quality, combined with first class service will help you to increase sales, build customer loyalty, and increase your profits.

At Droopy Tee's , we fully understand this and are committed to providing you and your customers the finest in full color imprinted products, quality and service. As part of our commitment to quality and service goal, we provide your organization a wide range of custom printed products to help your fund raising effort. We offer high value products. Candles, candy, wrapping paper are fine products to raise funds, BUT, custom printed key rings, t-shirts, mouse pads, coaster sets and more...they will always be used daily and your customers will want other great products that YOU sell!

Your fund raising drive may only be for a few weeks or months but your store will always be open, 24/7. Customers will come to your fund raising store and order products year round. Events, Xmas gifts, awards, etc... Your fundraiser works for you all year long... and it's free!

Your organization can sell from your store, at events, etc... If needed, you order the products they need and we fill the order and ship directly to your customer or to the addresses you provide OR they can order from your own school or fund raising store, which we provide free.

Our services are unique. We custom print your artwork, including photos, onto a wide variety of products and our minimum piece order is one (1) piece. Don't have any artwork? We can help with that too, all at no cost to you. .

It makes no difference if you are a high school, elementary school, middle school, college, non-profit entity, university, day care, etc... Each institution needs a program to create funds for field trips, outings, events, pictures, etc... Sports programs, extra curricular activities, class of 2009, 2010, etc..

We offer you this no cost, no obligation opportunity to start earning money. So why wait?
If you are looking for a reliable source for your fund raising needs, please consider Droopy Tee's .

To learn more about our Free stores. please click HERE.

How it Works

1. You supply the artwork in which you need imprinted onto the products. We can take your current artwork and edit it to fit on all products.

2. You select only the items you wish to sell - buttons, t-shirts, ceramic plates, keychains, etc... We place your image on the products you elect to sell.

3.Then build your free store as part of your fund raising plan. This free store is where your customers purchase your printed products. From your store, anyone can order your products 24/7. Supporters, employees, parents, the general public, etc...

You are not limited by only one image. If your needs require more than one image or piece of artwork, simply create a new section for each different image. Yes, we can also help you there.

We can take that one piece of artwork and add different colored background colors to give your customers more choices. This relates to more purchases and more profit for your fundraiser. These colored backgrounds can be placed on all products, not just bumper stickers.

Add some clip art, color it and you have a completely new design.
You can advertise your store by your own methods - business cards, word of mouth, flyers, posters, ads ,etc...

Click Image to see a working Store!
4. When your customer orders from your store, all orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days plus allow 8-12 days for shipping.
This feature allows your fund raising drive to continue 365 days a year. You do NOT have to wait until your drive ends to have your orders filled. Thus, having your own retail website, you can sell 365 days of the year and we fill your orders 365 days of the year. Your fund raising efforts run 365 days!

5. Our payment processing plan is using Paypal only. If your school or business does not have a Paypal account, you should open a free business account with them. Your customers do NOT have to have a Paypal account to make any purchases!
All profits are paid into your Paypal account. As a Paypal member, you can request payment by check, deposit into your checking account and other means.
You can set the dollar value of your profits when you wish to be paid - $25, 50, 100, etc...

6. Your profit and sale figures are available to you 24/7 when you login at your store.

7. You will have access to your store where you can set your own selling price on any or all products. You can add or delete products as you see fit.

8. Shipping charges: All orders are subject to our current shipping charge of FREE SHIPPING, irregardless of order size. This includes both US and all foreign orders.

Returns: If any product proves to be defective or your customer is not satisfied, we will replace the defective product or refund your wholesale cost back to you. Shipping charges (if applicable), are NOT refundable.

REACH THE ARBONNE!

I know you probably mean well, but I'm just letting you know now. Arbonne and everything about it will not be well-received here.

Just sayin'.

I have the same problem at my school! Small, private school. Plus the kids are not very school-spirited.
At our Zeta Days Convention thing one chapter told us about "Kidnapped".
They "kidnapped" every fraternity and sorority's president and gave them a "price" in order to get them back. The price usually wasn't money (maybe you could ask for money though) it was stuff for their philanthropy, for example, if your philanthropy was something about helping the homeless the "ransom note" would have a list of things you'd want to give to your local homeless shelter, such as canned food, etc. So while the frats and sororities are running around gathering said items, your p.o.w.'s are playing games and eating food while at your house. Also, fyi, before you do this make sure it's not a problem for the other greeks and make sure you "kidnap" them on a day there will be a good turn out from them, such as chapter meeting days.

If you need any more ideas I'm sure I have a few more. I'm also our chapter's fundraising/community service chair.
You can e-mail me at ztabriel@gmail.com
happy fundraising! lol

Heree is a surefire winner

Water kefir grains! Buy them off ebay, get them from a friend, whatever you have to do.. They sell like hotcakes and grow to double their size in just 24-48 hours. You could sell a few tablespoons of these for about 5 dollars each. If you grow your own now, amass a ton of grains, you can really make a ton of cash. OK so with that said, make sure you use organic unsulphured dried fruit. Regular store bought dried fruit is not good enough, it will hurt the grains. Organic sugar, a giant glass jar, purified water, organic dried fruit, and PEELED store bought lemons is all you need. And the water kefir grains of course.

Maybe a spaghetti dinner at your xyz house. It would provide a way for interested member to come in and meet your chapter with low pressure, and supports to support.

Also, maybe has a chapter you could sell avon or mark and put the processed towards the chapter.

Sponsor some sort of competition and charge entry fees.
