Fraternity Chapter Says It Will Leave LSU (Louisiana)
In a statement printed in the May 5 '06 issue of LSU's student paper, the campus chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) says it's petitioning its HQ to withdraw its charter. See:

I have no idea what action Phi Gamma Delta HQ may take. I also don't know what events or proposed changes led up to this.

Brief excerpt from the statement in the Reveille:

" . . . the 109 members of the Beta Rho Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) have petitioned our graduates and international headquarters to withdraw our charter from recognition at the school."

wow. it will be very interesting to see if the hq grants these men alumni status and recolonizes the chapter or if they just close the chapter.

None of the Media reports actually say a lot.

This has to be a surprising revelation for all involved.

Please do keep an update on this.

This is an important College to any and all GLOs.
