And yes, most American doctors are not fond of giving it to peeps without kids, but if you look around, you'll find someone who will (I know of one girl who has it because it's hazardous to her health to get pregnant and the Dr. didn't even want to chance her being on the pill.)
Cool, thank you. Sucks on the pain, but my current doc who doubles as my girlie doc is REALLY good and I think will be down with it if it's what i want. She knows I have ADHD and struggle to take those pills regularly. I'd feel better for having it too.

Lol Me, too.

I'm so excited to get out of here and go ice skating b/c my apartment has no A/C and I'm BURNING UP. I'm almost scared my fish's water is going to get too warm and he'll die. It's that freakin' hot in here.

It's similar for Essure (which is permanent sterilization). Neither Mirena nor Essure is recommended if you are nulliparous, but there's no real reason you can't have either procedure.

Warning: Having an anesthetic shot in your cervix HURTS LIKE A BITCH. But grit your teeth, scream your head off if you want to, and the pain will pass. Your IUD or your Essure coils will be inserted, you will spend some time in recovery, and then you are DONE.

^^ I don't want Essure, but am familiar with it, not sure what I want as far as having kids in the future, but know I don't want any for now.

Thanks for the info on the pain though. :-/

WTF Plan B Pill? I thought you are 99.9% effective? I have to push out another 10 pounder? I want my $50 back, CVS! I have to buy everything all over again! Crib, carseat/travel system, clothes, swing, bottles, breastpump.... fuck, dont' even get me started on breastfeeding again. It sucks balls when I'm the only source of food for baby at first and I'm the only one getting up at all hours of the night to feed. Of course my husband is ecstatic we're having another one, he only does about 25% of the work. And SHIT I have to buy all new maternity clothes again too. Fuck that! I'm buying some stretchy pants and calling it a damn day. Or maybe I'll just wear my maternity bathing suite to work every day because that's the one item of maternity wear that I kept from before. Fuck, I'm never having sex again, not while I have viable eggs at least. I told the husband by the next time my body releases an egg, his shit had better be FIXED.

Oh and OF COURSE, Yuengling will begin its Ohio distribution while I'm pregnant. EFF YOU TOO Yuengling!

Y'all both need to get in touch with Planned Parenthood and get them to take care of your situations.

Irishlake, does your husband enjoy sports? Let's say he wants to watch the World Series or the Super Bowl. Tell him you totally support that and he should take a couple of days off, maybe even stay in a motel with a good cable package where he can just relax and watch the game(s) alone. That way he can lay on the couch while he recovers from the vasectomy he'll schedule at Planned Parenthood since it is a lot less invasive and dangerous than a tubal ligation and he can kick back and enjoy some sports watching.

Drolefille if an IUD isn't an option maybe the Nuvaring, which is pretty low maintenance, could work for you.

Uh I have a doctor, thanks and am up to date on my Pap and all that jazz and we've had discussions about BC I just haven't decided what I want to do as it is only recently that I've needed to think beyond condoms and Plan B once every six months or so. I just dislike having my cervix poked at and am trying to work up the mental courage for it should it be necessary.

So uh, thanks, I'm good Nuvaring's under consideration already. Depo and I didn't get along well which makes me less certain about something like Mirena. As you know it's complicated, so I'm taking my time.

/cause everyone wanted to know that.

I only suggested it because you mentioned concerns about possibly being unable to get an IUD since you haven't given birth. Planned Parenthood has given IUDs to women who were turned down elsewhere, and not having to use a hormonal method may work better for your physical and mental well being regardless of the method of delivery. Your insurance may also not cover it or give you a hassle, or the cost may be less a PP'hood.

I can't even fathom an IUD, the idea of something metal I can't remove on my own freaks me out.

Wow, Yuengling is going to start Ohio distribution? This will make one of my chapter sisters very happy.

Be VERY VERY VERY careful with the IUD and scream to your doctor the millisecond it doesn't feel right, if you decide to use it. Supposedly it doesn't have the issues that it did the first time around in the 1970s but I have heard of some women having major problems with it this go-round too. DF, sorry if this is way underestimating the problem, but could you set an alarm on your phone to remind you to take The Pill every day?

On another note...

have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE when other people plan something supposedly on their own and then look to me to carry out the plan? I haven't? Well I am mentioning it now. I am not Julie McFuckingCoy Cruise Director, I am not a daycare worker, I am not a concierge, and I am not an arbitrator in peace talks.

*happy dances with you* Yeah, but only I was actually AT WORK. The bliss only lasted about 20 minutes while I ate lunch but it was still much appreciated. That man sits in his bathrobe, eating bonbons and arguing at Whoopi on The View. He ain't workin'. #yeahIsaidit

I may not be going to Miami, but I'm going somewhere. I'm planning a birthday trip. Details aren't finalized yet but when they are....oooooh boy when they are!

I do believe I'm going to splurge for the luxury hotel room with A/C rather than the economy room without. My carmex melted right here on my coffee table. I need to have A/C SOMEWHERE I'm staying this summer!

21 year old Amish man busted for sexting a 12 (he thought she was 13, wtf!) year old girl. He rolled up to the rendezvous point in his buggy. He had planned to get it on in the buggy.

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/file/amish-sexting

These NSFW and life videos are also setting me up permanently in my rocking chair on the porch. If this is the future of America I'm very afraid.

T. Mills "she got a neck tattoo and all her clothes are new"
http://youtu.be/tHuCg-8de4g

He also has another charmer about being 16, getting involved with a stripper who "has ones in her crack."

I find the sisters who make up the Millionaires even more disturbing. It is like Snooki and Harajuku Girls were part of a bad science experiment in an American Apparel store. Their videos and songs are also NSFW and life. They are associated with Brokencyde, this explains everything.

One of my best friends has one (she never had kids) and said the insertion was quite uncomfortable but not much more than that. Afterwards , according to her, it feels like having heavy period cramps for a day or two.

VS, the Amish 21 YO was on my local news last night. I see he's making national headlines this morning. LMAO and EWWWWW gross at the same time. There's pervs everywhere.

I didn't know PP did vasectomy procedures! Awesome (for me, sucks for him). I wouldn't be able to get a the ol tubes tied anyway. I'm likely going to a doctor who delivers at a Catholic hospital, and they won't do them.

THAT'S THE LAST EFFING TIME I'M STAYING UP TO WAIT FOR YOU. THIS GOING TO BED AFTER MIDNIGHT AND GETTING UP AT 5AM CRAP IS GOING TO STOP.

Ok, I feel better. I don't know how he's handling it - closing at the dinner restaurant then opening the next day at the breakfast restaurant, but I'm about to have a psychotic episode trying to keep up with him.
