I'm watching last night's new episode of "Teen Mom" and I just want to punch Amber! Seriously, she's getting pissed and cussing Gary out because he won't watch Leah so she can go on a date?? And he still got her flowers?? He NEEDS to grow a pair! I was really wishing I'd see her in handcuffs in the back of a cop car for punching him last week. Karma's going to be a major bitch for that girl.

Gary is an immature asswipe for the most part. He's done his fair share of ridiculously selfish domestic indiscretions. But she still doesn't get to hit him, and she still doesn't get to yell in such an abusive way. If it were him doing that to her, he'd already be in jail. I don't care that she's much smaller and yeah, probably isn't actually hurting him. It's abusive behavior and she needs some counseling. I also feel so sorry for Leah. If they refuse to see that they obviously need very limited contact with each other she's going to grow up hearing/seeing abusive behavior.

I'm really glad they let me leave a little early, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see any heart surgeries at all today. I missed the first one, because it's a little over an hour drive from my school. I missed the one that was performed on the cat, but I was able to see the one performed on a Great Dane with tricuspid dysplasia. He also had an irregular enlargement of the aortic arch, along with a right ventrical enlargement. He was an older dog, with a lot of problems though. He even had a few masses that needed to be removed. The money people will pay to keep their pets a little longer makes great job security for me. I was also able to see a lot of thoracic radiographs. I've seen them before, but not to this degree. The Dr. who I'll be shadowing during my residency after graduation (in 7 months, woohoo! ), is an awesome surgeon and cardiologist. He's very detailed.

Today I was reading this article that I'm sure you already know about, but I found it in a "Car and Driver" magazine in the lobby. It was just talking about car designers being "graded". They were just talking about the "lesser-known designers" and how some of them haven't produced any memorable designs during their career. They were just talking about how the "superstar" designers always get recognition even though they move around a lot. And on the next page they have a few cars with grades next to them and why they got that particular grade. I was surprised because they gave a really cool looking BMW a B+, but they gave a Chevy (not sure what kind it is) an A-.

I just thought I would share it with you. The Dr. who I'll be working with has a Porsche. He has a bunch of car magazines in the lobby. I think he has just as many car magazines as he does pet ones in the lobby. I wrote it down, but does "Boxter" ring a bell? I just saw it parked in the back and I asked who's it was. He said it was his, and that he just got it a few months ago. He's a car guy like you. I just thought I would share that with you.

Kind of embarrassed to say that... I went on my computer and listened to my songs in shuffle and when B2K came up (One Kiss which used to be my song back in.. 2002ish) I listened and sung along. And then replayed it.
