Beautiful, beautiful baby. What a precious little one - congratulations!
And no justice today . . . as I was ON MY WAY to the airport (a 2 hr. drive) I get a call from my lawyer - Bozo's lawyer is claiming his child was hospitalized/had to see a specialist/something vaguely medical. I smell a rat, but unless I can prove we are once again being hosed, can't do anything. So,now it's the middle of November. And another month I don't receive any money. Thank God he's had a vasectomy and won't be able to do this to anyone else.
On the positive side, listed the house yesterday and had my first showing today.

Congrats sister! Your baby is adorable.
**WTF, my own bio sister deleted me from her myspace friends? WTF is that all about? Is she doing crap she doesn't want me to know about? 18 y/o brat!

Your munchkin is absolutely adorable!!!! What a cutie!!!!
Seriously extended family sucks, don't they. My extended family is the exact same way. Not that it's the same thing, but when I sent out announcements for my college graduation I wasn't expecting them to come (although it was a local ceremony) but a card or even a phone call saying "congrats" would have been nice. For my Masters I didn't even bother sending them out to my dad's side because they were the side that blew me off. Yet, they are constantly sending stuff out for their families stuff.
Personally, I think they (your family might be this too) are A) mannerless and/or B) jealous. I figure that is why my cousins never responded because I was the first grandchild to graduate college. And I got TONS of attention, especially from my paternal grandparents. Not my fault they choose the paths they choose.

What's the difference between the "what do you feel like saying, right now" and the "totally random" threads? They both seem like forums for mini-discussions and random thoughts.
Oh, and in reference to the lack of response on the new baby- according to my Dad, one of my aunts did mention to him on the phone that she recieved the announcement and said that the baby was very cute. But that was it. And my Dad has been known to tell white lies for the sake of family harmony, so who really knows. They are still off my Christmas Card list!
Distance has it's advantages.

The whole point to a "team decision" is for the "team" to be present! How can it be a "team decision" when I'm not there! Hello, I'm frickin grade level chair! Seriously, would it have killed the "team" to wait until the doctor gave me the "thumbs up" to come back to work, which will most likely be Wednesday!

You stupid, no-talent, sorry-ass, son-of-a-bit**. Not all photo students want to be in advertising. If your dumb and BLIND ass would look @ my major, you would see that it says DOCUMENTARY/PHOTOJOURNALISM. This would explain why your comments do not make ANY sense. It's pretty apparent why the other students don't like you. No, it's not just me.

I think the random threads are more, "I'm thinking this and would like to share with you--discuss if you will," but this one is more like, "I wish I could say this to certain persons but, given the present situation, I cannot, so I'll type it in this forum where no one really understands or cares what it's about, but at least it's safe to say it."
That being said...I hate papers. I hated them in undergrad. I hate them in grad school. I do not like them in the warm. I do not like them in a dorm. I do not like them Sam-I-am.

So at the beginning of the year, my husband told me I was putting too much money into our Medical Flexible Spending Account. Well, our 5 year old just broke his arm and required a trip to the OR to get it set. Looks like I didn't put ENOUGH into the MFSA.
While the broken arm was horrible- noone should ever hear their child cry like that- I did get to hear a little three word sentence from my husband that was quite lovely- "You were right".
since I couldn't say this in the ER, I'll say it now TOLD YOU SO!
