Is it funny that I'm super excited to see my guy's new haircut tonight? Yay! He's so cute!

We're two days into break. I already miss him.
Christmas break is not going to be pretty...

I did one. That was it. All future relationships will have to develop from an existing friendship/companionship/acquaintance. This online dating thing is for the birds.
Oh and update: Though I won't get my christmas wish; I should get it by my birthday *yay*

Well Thanksgiving is going well but I miss my family significantly.
Although, not everyone here is nice.

Suspected married dude has disappeared. He sent me a text Tuesday evening. I was driving so I called him but he didn't answer. I left a voicemail answering the question he asked in the text. Not a word since. He hasn't logged in to Plenty of Fish either. I do believe the married dude figured out that I was on to him...lol. Poof, into thin air.

I was just offered a summer job that would involve 6 weeks away from home, and all I can think about is how much I will miss boyfriend. Sigh.

Is it bitchy of me to wish a guy, on the first date, would just say "we're doing this and that" (albeit maybe clearing beforehand that I'm not allergic to certain foods) and not bend over backwards to ask me?
I just went out on a date with a guy, and he didn't have a clue as to what to do or where to go. I basically had to pick the movie, where we would see it, what we would do afterward. It makes me feel like an emasculating bossy shrew and I hate that.
Being consulted about your opinion is nice, but dammit, YOU asked ME out. I think you should maybe have a clue as to what to do!
Does anyone get what I mean?

I get it!
I love my boyfriend- I do. But he also just wants me to make the decisions some times, when I would rather he made the call! It drives me slightly crazy.

I wonder if I leave the web browser open to the ring I want for Christmas if it would magically appear under my tree?
Then again, since I lost my wedding ring I've been sort of "meh" about getting a new one. I've been wearing a Claddagh ring that I bought from Walmart for $12 and have sort of decided that buying anything else would be wasteful. Are we any more or less married than my co-worker who had the 3 ct.? PS on that...I love her to death, but it looks ridiculous on her tiny hands.

Maybe Married Boy might be with the wife and fam for Thanksgiving. Pretty hard to escape that. If he all of a sudden poofs back on, say, Saturday or Sunday, I would have to conclude he is not single. Either that or he is a spy that had to go on a secret mission that of course he can't talk to you about.

I can't believe I actually asked him to "go steady" with me. Holy 1950s, Batman! I feel like such a dork but I got tongue-tied and didn't know how else to say it.
Oh well. He said yes, didn't he?

I know what you mean. I dated a guy once who was like that all the time, to the point that even if we MADE PLANS BEFOREHAND, when he picked me up he would be like "so what do you want to do?" and I'd be like, "UM, (insert plans here)" and he'd be like "sounds good." WTH?? hello?? It was so annoying but aside from that he was pretty great so I let it slide lol. But I hear ya girl.
