I just caught the season premiere on ABC and think this is a show I could get into. Did anyone else catch it?

I LOVED it, but I guess that was more for Patrick Dempsey than the show. The only down side is that the main girl on there is the narrator and I hate shows that are narrated, but the upside is that her love interest is so freakin hot even though he's like 40....

Also: the music rocked.

It's on at the same time as Crossing Jordan is here, so I won't be able to watch. I want to catch it at some point because all the commercials looked good. Is Sandra Oh the narrator?

I liked it. If they keep it at the same time slot and move Boston Legal, I'll be very happy

I liked it alot, sure it has the same hospital cliches, but like other shows it is really about the characters and their interactions, so I can get over seeing the same medical scenes I have seen in every other ER-type show. And this is all about surgical interns, so think of a show all focused on the world of Drs. Benton and Corday (the surgeons from ER) - I think it is interesting. And hopefully they will incorporate the character of the city of Seattle like ER had references to Chicago.

The new series will initially run for four weeks in place of repeat episodes of "Boston Legal," which will return Sunday, April 24 with all-original episodes for the remainder of the season.

Ellen Pompeo (Luke Wilson's love interest from 'Old School') is the focus and she was the one doing the narrative. Not sure if that device will be in all the episodes b/c at the end of the show you realize that she has been narrating b/c she is telling the story of her first shift to her mom, a famous surgeon who now appears to have Alzheimer's (Kate Burton, Richard Burton's daughter who is not on the regular cast listing)



The actors are all pretty good and almost all recognizable from other shows or movies.

Patrick Dempsey and Katherine Heigl (Roswell) are also good.

And there are two Houston, TX born actors on the show -- the girl who plays "the Nazi" and the guy who plays the surgeon who gave George a hard time.

The music is really good, but sometimes it is really distracting. The first two episodes have songs as titles - "A Hard Day's Night" and "The First Cut Is The Deepest"

I really liked the show too. I thought the 2 docs sleeping together and then one being the other's superior was a little predictable, but other than that it was good.
It looks like a bunch of them are going to move in together which should add a little more drama to it!

The show gets two thumbs up from me. I have had a crush on Patrick D. since "Can't Buy me Love". It seems like he gets cuter with age.

Good show, enjoyed the music a lot. ER got old & boring for me so this is a nice new medical show...
