U of IL chapter in mourning

I hesitate to crash your Delta site, but I wanted to let you know that one of your sisters who was a junior at U of IL, Melissa Lech, was killed by an apparent hit and run driver on August 7 in Joliet, IL. The driver of the car hasn't been caught, and there is a large reward for information. With this tragedy occurring so close to the beginning of school and the stresses of recruitment, I'm sure her family and the chapter could use your love, prayers, and kind thoughts.

I heard about this because I live about 45 minutes from Joliet & their chapter is the closest in distance from our Chapter at Epsilon Gamma. My heart goes out the the Lech family.

Gee, what a class guy. Has to confess to clear his conscience but had no intention of going to the police!! Glad he is able to sleep at night now.

I just saw this on the news. I hope that her family and friends can finally start to have some closure.
