I'm back from camp!
Hi y'all! I got home night before last from camp, and although I miss the staff, it's so good to be back. I absolutely fell in love with Maryland while we were there, and plan on going back for spring break. The last week of camp I had a 13 year old girl in a wheel chair in my Bible study group, and it was the most amazing experience of the summer. We do a lot of team building games in recreation, and one of them is the spider web. A web is made of rope stretched between 2 trees, and is generally about 6-8 feet high. The team has to get every member through the web and can only use each hole once. My team was 9-10 graders, and they refused to stop until Melissa let them take her out of the chair and put her through. It was the most amazing moment of the summer!
I definitely missed GC, and can't wait to hear what's going on in people's lives. Hope everyone's summer has been amazing!!!

I'm glad you had a great time in Maryland. Since you love Maryland and I can't stand it and I love Tennessee how bout we switch! What part of Maryland were you at?

Good to hear that you had a good time.
My younger brother had a great time working at a camp and has done it for several years. It can really be a life changing experience (he met his fiancée there).

Welcome back!!!
I am a volunteer at the MDA Camp. It is a week long camp for kids that have Muscular Dystrophy ranging in age from 6-21. I've been doing it for 7 years and it is such a rewarding and life changing experience.

Middletown. One of the guys on my team is a Sig Ep from Morehead! (Beecher McCarty) There were 5 total from Morehead on my team.
