Alumni Associations (and alums) in NYC

To all Greeks in NYC just a reminder that this Friday 6/25 is the all-Greek alum Happy Hour on the rooftop of the Met.

I have also planned a get-together at Bohemian Hall for Friday July 9th. Hope to see some of you there and all the other GC alums who are not local should fly in for these events.

This thread is all me. I just want to say that last nite I had fun hanging with my sisters at the Greek nite although I never quite made it downstairs. We did get to meet a guy in a frat from Albany that went to highschool with one of my sisters. It was a 10-year reunion for them. Small world. Come one come all to the event planned on July 9th at the Bohemian Beer Garden.

So I had given up for awhile due to lack of time and frustration about getting into contact with other Greek alums, but got an idea from Russ

His alumni association meets the same day of the month and time at the same spot. How cool would this be if we could get something regular like this going to all NYC GCer Alums (and of course all Greeks)? I know there is a big NYC GLO alum group started already but haven't heard from them in awhile. Just a thought, but like everything else, organization and committment can be soooooooooo difficult LOL.

We would enjoy it if a group occasionally drops by, but Phi Psi needs our own happy hour.

How about setting up a regular happy hour in a bar that can handle all of us? How about by the bus at the
Rodeo Bar?

Third or fourth Wednesday of every month could work.

I don't think that she is suggesting we crash your alumni association meetings. I think she means that NYC AA has a monthly meeting on the same day and the same place every month.

A few of my sorors and I are trying to get an alumnae org. going in the NYC area and are looking around to other AAs for networking events. Please, keep us (me) in the loop.
