It's Mic..... (Mac's ex-fiance.

LOS ANGELES - Actor Trevor Goddard, a former co-star of the CBS drama "JAG," was found dead in his home Sunday of an apparent drug overdose.

A Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman told Reuters that a girlfriend found Goddard, 37, lying on a bed at his North Hollywood home about noon Sunday (June 8). Goddard's death is being investigated as a possible suicide.

Investigators found notes addressed to a friend in the home, but "there was nothing in the notes indicating that he meant to take his life," coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey says. Authorities believe Goddard died sometime after 9 p.m. PT Saturday; an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

Goddard played Lt. Cmdr. Mic Brumby for three-plus seasons of "JAG," last appearing on the show in September 2001. A native of Australia, he broke into acting after a stint as a boxer, first appearing in a series of beer commercials. He was recently featured in an ad for Hoover vacuums.

In addition to "JAG," Goddard's credits include "Mortal Kombat," "Deep Rising" and the upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl."

Wow, that's a shock....he was such a good actor (even though I was glad that he and Mac didn't get together on the show!)

If you were cleaning up after a Roo, what have you become?

I really despised the Charater he played and wanted Mac to tell him to screw off!

Of course Harms real wife, god a bullit to the head would not be good enuff!

Of course, I like Tracy Needham before Cathrine Bell!

This is one hell of shock tho!

I suppose it seems sort of odd, but we got to thinking of the people on JAG sort of as part of our extended military family. We heard about this sad occurance yesterday and last night after dinner our Chaplain offered a blessing for him as a real person and then we lifted our coffee mugs in a toast to him in his fictional role as LCDR Mic Brumby, Royal Australian Navy, a brother officer.
Sorry to see this happen, and I think I'll say a prayer for him.
