after resisting and resisting and resisting, I've capitulated and am starting the Harry Potter series.
It better be worth it, AOIIalum. That's all I can say so far.

Right now reading a hard copy of several newspapers per week takes enough of my time, and there's the free black ink stained fingers bonus to boot.

I loved it. It took me a while to get into it, but I was advised to stick with it. Then I had trouble putting it down. Historical fiction is my thing, though. And my copy didn’t have pictures.😂

Okay, the pictures were absolutely grotesque. I wasn't expecting that. I'm reading some mind candy right now (one of Joanne Fluke's latest, The Banana Cream Pie Murder), but will give it another try afterwards.

Lady Katherine Knollys: The Unacknowledged Daughter of King Henry VIII
I was inspired to read this by one of the Greek Chat Renaissance Fair actress. Wish it were more inspiring, not merely conjecture. I paid $1 + shipping for it, and am glad it wasn't more.
