I know that my school had a set move in weekend from Friday to Sunday. You COULD move in after that, but it was strongly suggested that you do it during move-in weekend because no one has time to move AND go to class on Monday.
I've never known a university to have move-in scheduled for the first day of school.
Are you missing move in weekend and HAVE to move in on Monday?

In other posts she has said she already attends a different university and was going to go through recruitment last spring.
Maybe she transferred?

^^^Yeah, that would make sense. Seems sudden to go through rush spring semester, transfer, and go through again in the fall, but I suppose it happens.
Sorry to sidetrack your post OP - I was just confused and curious.

I think you should recheck the dates, I don't see how university would plan move in and start classes on the same day?
