Yay. I personally would love this as my dad and I are lifelong Vegas vacationers (he has owned a timeshare there since I was little.) It's almost like a home to me.

KD will not be presenting at UNLV after all. Scheduling difficulties are to blame. They were the runner up at the last expansion presentation. I guess their plate is full with expansion presentations. Sorry KD.

According to the Feb. 7 Panhellenic president's group meeting, Indiana Panhel is discussing further expansion. In the minutes, the desire to have all 26 NPC chapters is mentioned. I saw this link mentioned on another board and thought I would share it.

Any news on who's presenting at LSU? Would LOVE for our Gamma Phi Beta chapter to be back there!

SMH. I hope these girls aren't as clueless as the minutes make them sound. From the "one of the first campuses extending with unhoused chapters" part, to the fact that they could fix the problem with placement in a minute if they went to a Q/T system...talk about living in a bubble.

I am not sure they realize that IU is that different from other schools. An acquaintance of mine here in town served as an advisor for her chapter at IU and she called me after her first meeting with them to ask me about the crazy bed rush. Her chapter's rush chair would not believe her when she told the RC that bed quota was not the norm.

I believe that. I used the term "bed rush" with another IU advisor (granted she is not a recruitment advisor) and she asked me what other way was there? She couldn't wrap her head around the idea that IU is that different from other schools. Then again, I have yet to even hear/see the term bed rush in any of the recruitment materials. This is just the "normal" recruitment.
