Badge Attire?

Hello, everyone! I have a question about badge attire and the badge image. In our chapter, and I am assuming this stands with Theta chapters everywhere, we cannot wear our badges unless we are dressed nicely (business casual).

My chapter is talking about getting sweatshirts with the image of our badge on the back. I know it's not the actual physical badge, but is this permitted? Sweatshirts definitely do not fall under the category of "business casual."

That is a question I would take to the appropriate chapter advisor. If you dont have one, then the next person I would ask would be the college district president for your chapter's district.

That also seems to be a bit of a gray area, so it is possible you may not get a specific answer.

BucknellBubbly, I would suggest that you also contact Fraternity HQ with this question. I'm searching on the website now and if I find an answer, I'll edit this post to include it.

I've never seen our badge/COA/brand on clothing. AAMOF I don't recall seeing those items on any other chapter's clothing. Now that I've written that, I'm sure I'll get told differently!

I really don't care for the idea. Especially in leiu of badge attire. I would be ok with the black, gold and white kite that is inspired by our badge as seen on the Fraternity website, though.
