The groomsmen tuxes (very standard, I know):
But my groom had cool groomsmens' gifts (in my opinion of course...and yes, all 5 groomsmen went to Illinois):

We went shopping for maids dresses today. BLECH. Why is there so much ugly out there for bridesmaids? I think I'm going to have to make an appointment with J. Crew when I'm in Philly next weekend.

^^ I agree. I will be giving my bridesmaids a length, color (navy) and a fabric (silk chiffon) and telling them to buy a dress of their choosing from JCrew. I want them all to look similar enough on the wedding day, but not the exact same.

Wore that dress in my friend's wedding a couple weeks ago in pearl pink. I wasn't sure how it would look on me being plus sized, but we all looked great.

Concur. I'm having a terrible time finding appropriate, affordable dresses that aren't hideous.
I really want to get little black dresses (there are a million stylish and affordable dresses) and accessorize with pink sashes, pumps, and flowers, but Future Husband thinks it will look like a funeral. Consequently, we're still searching for something in pink.

I had a really good experience with J. Crew when I needed my groomsmaid's dress. I can honestly say that I will wear that dress again.
