No, and I doubt they seriously considered it either. I find it crass when a big sports program acts like they continue on BECAUSE they are honoring a deceased member. The seasons always continue. Find another way of honoring the member. Dedicate the season to her, but don't pretend like you were going to cancel the rest of the season. Maybe retire her number or have a scholarship in her name. That would be longer lasting and quite meaningful.

George Huguely IV has been found guilty of 2nd-degree murder in the death of Yeardley Love and faces up to 40 years in prison.
