What a fun idea! Definitely take lots of pictures. Maria may pass out over this!
(scurries off to email our APH president to see if we can do the same...)

Oh my gosh! Time and place please? Would outsiders/actives to your APH group be welcome? I would honestly love something like this. Maybe I could convince nittanygirl and we could carpool haha.

Most likely we'll start at 7 or 730. We used to meet at the Davis library on Democracy Blvd, but they goofed a few times and double booked our room so we are meeting elsewhere place TBD, but it'll no doubt be somewhere in Montgomery County (MD). The drive is 3-3.5 hrs from Happy Valley. Any Greek women are welcome, and since we don't have a Tri Sigma Delegate, you would definitely be more than a spectator.

You don't have to leave your house! I just add you to the call and you have video. No need to heat up the kitchen.

I already deleted it from my watch list and I can't find it under completed listings. Sorry! I do know that there weren't any other photos of the pin provided. I was very curious about a possible name being on the back. I hope it makes its way back to Tri-Sigma HQ!

Maybe not, then again, so many early badges were so variable. It would have been nice to see the back. This is definitely old given the length of the pin. Sigh. Wish we could see the back.

Oh, that happened a long time ago...I'm just jealous that AOII has such boring badge backs, except for the engraving.

After seeing a display of our Tri Sigma badges at NHQ, there is a badge style that was similar to this raised skull style from the very early 1900s (not used for very long, and only with a few chapters before we standardized the indented triangle badge), but the eyes were not emeralds, they were rubies. And the enamel was not so...fine-looking, if that makes sense. It's a reproduction, if you ask me.

To all the badge collectors in the room. Do NOT buy any fraternal badges from "gimstone" on eBay. This listing is for a fake diamond AOII badge marked 14K with no other markings on the back. He sold me a ruby A, pi point badge 3 months ago with the same 14K on the back with no other markings. These are extremely rare badges with very fishy lack of markings in the hands of the same seller! On closer inspection, he drilled holes into a chased A badge to retrofit it with stones. Nice job, but still fake. Don't be fooled!
