^ Now that's pretty!!
I know that this isn't full of bling, but check out the back of this Theta Delta Chi pin:
ETA: Omigosh, I found another - from 1942! I was assuming that the above pin was from the 1800's, but obviously they engraved this pins for quite a long time (it's white gold, too):

This is the 50-year Kappa pin that I found in an antique store. I don't wear it (because I haven't earned it), but I figured it's better off with me instead! Sorry for the lame quality photo. The left side of the fleur-de-lis is chased.

The 65- and 75-year pins are the same except there's a sapphire in place of the 50 on the 65-year pin and a diamond on the 75-year pin.
I thought I remembered them coming out with a 25-year pin, but can't find anything on it. IIRC, MysticCat posted a pic of it a few years ago. Or maybe I'm going crazy.

Super cool! It's interesting that the book and daggers on the 1942 badge seem to be more refined than on the 1907 badge.

Maybe the 25 year pin is completely unchased?

It's a completely different design - there's a sketch of it on the members side of our webpage, but no actual photo. It's an oval with an engraved Iris and our letters.

Yeah, the 25-year member pin is silver and some flat design. I've seen it in person, but I can't remember what it looks like.

AEPhi also has a ritual for the transition from active to alumna - the Temple Degree. The content of the ritual is secret and known only to alumnae. You can receive the Temple Degree when you become an alumna or at any time thereafter. You get a certificate, but no jewelry.
AEPhi needs more pretty jewelry.

ZTA Mother's Pin:
White Violet Pin (50 years)
White Violet Charm (75 years):
I like the idea of having special pins for 10 and 25 years as well and I'm bummed you don't get membership recognition until 50 years I really like Alpha Phi's 10 year pin design! I'm a little biased though since I'll be a ZTA for 10 years next year...
ETA: Recognition Pins:

Can be worn by NMs and initiated sisters

Can be worn by initiated sisters only.

There was a Kappa Kappa Gamma badge that was sold on eBay several years ago that was very old and had several different colored stones -- deep "jewel-toned" stones -- absolutely gorgeous.

The ZTA pins are way cool! I looked on the KAO official jewelers sites (we have two; one for badges, one for accessory jewelry) and I found pansy charms but no pins or badges for years of membership, or indicating mother/father status, or recognition.
That being said, I have a "dinky" Theta badge (it's about 3/8" long, seriously!); it's cute as cute can be. All the details are there, it's just miniature. I wonder if it was used as a recognition pin back in the day. When (if ever) I master photography, I will take a picture of it and post it (don't hold your breath).
Part two: interesting design: no brainer, obviously. ANY badge with opals. Period. End of story. (I know, I know - you were expecting that.)

Just basic design wise, I have always loved the way the White Cross of Sigma Chi and Theta Chi badge look.

Is that a KKG Badge? The letters don't look like KKG to me on it. Just curious.

They are, just not clear.
