there are set times for the meals and arrangements can usually be made with the housemother if you have a class conflict or would miss a meal for some other reason, so that a meal is set aside for you.

The catering services that do the meals at the sorority houses can also make a special meal for you (at no extra charge) should you require one. For example, if you have diabetes and require a special diet, they are usually pretty accomodating. Make sure you make this known though after joining as soon as possible. Also, be patient with your request if this should apply to you. It may take a few days to get the special request in.

This does not apply to every chapter's catering service. You may be SOL and stuck paying for meals you can't eat.

actually, at florida state the majority of the houses, if not all, hire their own kitchen and household staff and meals are prepared on the premises.
