my dad was a lambda chi alpha. im an alpha omicron pi. we're the only greeks in the family, though my cousin is planning on rushing at ohio university this winter! hopefully we'll have 2 AOIIs in the fam then!

Just my mom and me... no women on either side of my family went to college before my mom. We're both Phi Mus, both from Delta Iota Chapter. My dad went to an all-male college with fraternities, but he didn't join one. Rather, he paid his "dues" (read: beer money) to a totally social, independent group of guys. Yeah, he was the GDI party dude.
(My dad is actually pretty involved with Phi Mu things whenever he can be--from helping the chapter my mom used to advise with moving things or fixing things around their house, to spotting quatrefoils without prompting--he's pretty great. I'm pretty sure that if Phi Mu had a father's pin, he'd wear it along with his Naval Dolphins.)

A submariner! My dad was one, too. When I was an advisor to my KD chapter, a traveling consultant who visited a couple of times and I compared notes and realized that we were both born in the navy hospital in Groton.

I have cousins in Alpha Phi and Zeta Tau Alpha, as well as another cousin in a local fraternity at York College, he's not sure which national it affiliated with.
Here's hoping my sister goes through recruitment this year!
