Thanks eveyone for your valuable input.

Despite the great points about jewelry for a sorority girl and a frame matted piece for the fraternity guy we are going with frames for each of them!

Primary reason... the "sorority girl" is a pretty serious student/person and hopefully is going to have a pretty cool office someday that will be a great place for a framed initiation certificate and assorted diplomas.

The "fraternity guy" wouldn't be caught dead with jewelry Greek or non Greek so a frame is an easy choice.
