I first heard of that happening during the "gas crisis" a few years ago. Though what really threw me was when I went to a Popeye's and they'd run out of chicken.

I am so proud. I'm like a proud mama bear. <3 One of my babies from church just called me crying because her "friends" at school were spreading rumors about her and a boy. No one will talk to her and she sat alone at lunch today. I asked her what she did about it. She said, "I came home and read some passages about friends and gossipers. I needed God to give me some advice." I know I was not that calm and dignified when I was 16 (shoot, or NOW). We talked about it and threw around some actions to take that wouldn't compromise her integrity, including just letting the talkers talk. Holy crap, I could not be more proud of her. "It's not what they call you but what you answer to."

Been there, done that. We have essentially "given up" for the time being. Well, more like put everything on hold until further notice. Clomid made me effin crazy. Then we found out that he had some slight issues as well. We've given up *for now* while we work on just getting healthy. We'll revisit... eventually, and when we finally do, we'll be in a place where we can afford infertility treatments OR adoption...depends on where we are when that time finally comes.

Depends on what you call expensive. It wasn't expensive, to me. What was expensive was the custom engine and nitrous work I had done on it. I race with it which is why I can't wait until this summer. My best friend and I, and some other guys from work rent a drag strip in Ohio every year, and just have fun racing each other.

Anyone ever bought shorts or pants from Vineyard Vines? I haven't but there are a couple of items I'd like to order, but I am unsure how their sizes run. I am a loyal J Crew shopper and feel confident to order online, but VV is new to me. If you shop at both and can give me a comparison, that would be awesome.

Thanks Amanda! I'm working on getting healthier. So far, I've lost almost 10 pounds on weight watchers. Maybe that's a start. I just hope we can get some guidance from the doc in a couple of weeks.
