Have you ever been hurt deeply by someone's post on GC??

OK maybe its because I've been having an emotional night, or maybe it's just in the air, but tonight, I read a post in one of the "mods forum" that really really hurt me, because I felt that person completely betrayed my trust. Why do people have to hurt other people???

So I thought.....has anyone else ever felt this way??

No, because this is just the internet.

No, because I know that people have the right to say and think whatever the hell they want about anything they want.

No, because I'm learning that it doesn't matter what other people do or say about me, what matters is what I think about me.

I think people get way too wrapped up in this place. I know if people ever wrote anything about me anywhere, it's their right...they can perceive me any way they want, they can express their frustrations and anger about me if they have to, it's their choice. Just like I can do the same if I'm bothered by someone or something.

It's just the internet. It's a bunch of blips on a screen. Take it as that and then leave it as that.

Nope, like what Aries said, it's just the internet. Don't take it personally. Beside, you don't really know any of us unless you've met one in real life. For all you know, I can be a balding 40 years old who still live the parents.

Nope. When I close the Internet Explorer window, it's as if GC didn't exist.

What Munchkin03 said. You can 86 people online much easier with one click of your mouse. Not so easy in real life.

Generally speaking, if you spend a lot of time contemplating on the events and situations happening here on GC *after* you log off and go offline, I think you have issues. I know for some of you it goes beyond the borders of GC/AIM/LJ, and if that happens...well, just be prepared when the isht hits the fan.
