Whoops! I stand corrected...we have 8 NPHC fraternities and sororities plus a latino fraternity...not ALL 9 NPHC orgs.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the AGDs, so I won't even bother to guess. Dring spring week a fraternity was paired up with a sorority I had never heard of, socially, service-wise, honors, etc and I was told it was the AGDs name for the time being. That's all I know.
I don't think the list of sororities and fraternities have been updated in a while, but hey, it's ok..we like all the high-up greek people anyway

Harmony - could that maybe have been the girls who are trying to reopen the Theta Phi Alpha chapter there? I think there is a thread about it on the TPA board.

Please get your information correct!! Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha,Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho and Iota Phi Theta are all Community Service organizations. Saying that we are Social Organizations is disrespectful to our Founders. Our Founders from 1906-1963 faced many hardships to birth these orgainzations that are so prominent in the African American Community. All the work that we do in the community is tossed to the side when including us in the list as Social Organizations.
Thank you,

I don't know who whese people are, but they are NOT an NPHC organization.
On Savannah State's campus, we have:
AFA, AKA, KAY, WYF, DSQ, FBS, ZFB, SGR, AFW
in addition to may professional & honor societies all of whose names I cannot call off the top of my head.

Humboldt State University
Sororities:
Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. (Latina Interest)
Rho Chi Upsilon (Local)
Phi Delta Psi (Local)
Delta Phi Epsilon (NPC)
Fraternities:
Chi Phi
Tau Kappa Epsilon
By the way, dzsaigirl (Univ. of Houston) and ZZ-kai- (Univ. of Wisc. - Osh Kosh): I was wondering... I know we have chapters of Gamma Alpha Omega at your campuses, but you didn't list them. Is it because we're not NPC or did you just not know about them? Just wondering. We barely became a Charter Colony on my campus and am wondering how active the other chapters are with the other orgs on their campuses.
Thanks a bunch!

I'm a member of the group rechartering the Rho chapter of Theta Phi Alpha at PSU, we're known as TPA or SIG (Sorority Interest Group) because we're not allowed to use the greek letters until we're rechartered (understandibly). So I assume this is the same thing that AGD is doing although I am not sure what they go by, I have only heard they are trying to recharter also. If the group you are referring to was from this past year it wasn't us, we only participated in THON this past year. However, we are doing both Homecoming and THON this coming year. Homecoming with Pi Lam (Pi Lambda Phi) and THON with Phi Who (Phi Kappa Theta).
Feel free to check us out at http://www.personal.psu.edu/seg187/sig.html Thanks!
