I read that back when it was first published. Intriguing book.

The Orphanmaster is crossing a line into Freaky, and I'm not sure if I'll finish it. I need to ask a question about it on GoodReads, as I just don't do cannabilism.

In the interim, I'm reading The Gingerbread Murder, one of Joanna Fluke's excellent mind candy.

For those who don't mind freaky, here are some of the reviews on The Orphanmaster. I will not be finishing it.

I am reading The Escape, by David Baldacci. If you like Baldacci, you'll like this one, too.

Ew. I'm still going to give it a try, but I'm not as excited about it as I was previously....

I reserved it through the library. I'm not sure whether to say, "thanks!" Or, "Wow, you really want to get rid of it!"

Last year I met one of my favorite authors Jodi Picoult, I've only haven't been a fan of one of the books that she's written. I'm reading her newest one leaving time and it is definitely a book I recommend! She always has an interesting subject in her book and this one talks about elephants, such a cool animal!

Actually, I've been gifted by books in the past, and was just paying it forward.

I did finish The Escape. It was wonderful, as expected. I need a quick trip to Half-Price Books to fill the need.

For those who say, why not use the library, the local library has such odd hours (compared to my even odder working hours) that I have paid more in fines than I would have done by buying at HPB. So it goes.

Just finished "The Conspiracy of Us" by Maggie Hall. I have an Audible subscription and like the narrator and the storyline intrigued me (love audiobooks when I run). Can't wait for the next installment coming in March.

I was afraid it was so creepy, you wanted it gone! I'm picking it up at the library tomorrow. I'll let you know if I finish it!

As per usual, I have two going. The nonfiction is Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy, which I've been wanting to read for years and received for Christmas. This may take a while!

I'm also reading Joanne Fluke's Key Lime Pie Murder for my mind candy.
