Marveling that the jazzy, incidental music played during a 2005-ish tv programme coincidentally brings to mind very similar music used in a 30-second 1965-era television commercial. Not aware whether either piece of music is from any known score or individual song.

Flipping through tv channels. Discovered the finale of The Bachelorettes is playing. Both women have voices reminiscent of characters in The Fashion Club from the old Daria cartoon television show.

Recovering from endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. I was awake during the procedure and had local anesthetic. Less downtime then the traditional "Cut the palm" technique. Will have the same procedure next year on my other hand.

Enjoying the day, especially after hearing former CB Joe Haden signed a one day contract to officially retire as a Cleveland Brown.

Getting ready to go to the Grand Floridian for 3 nights. I need a break-- our daughter, grandson (19 months), and son-in-law have lived with us for 7 months now. They are moving out in 11 days, and I'm so ready. I'm not good at communal living.

Flying tomorrow to my place in Fort Lauderdale. Hoping this storm shifts more westward so I don't have to experience my first hurricane. Fingers crossed! XX

I’m just now going to bed because Saturdays are movies and pizza night. Night night.

Sitting here in my classroom looking out at a sunrise as well and hating daylight savings time because it means I have to drive here in the dark for a few more weeks.

Yes! The fact that it doesn't get light as early really aggravates me. I read that Daylight saving time causes 6% more accidents in the first few days!

I have a harder time getting up in the morning when it feels like the middle of the night!

I'm sitting here thinking about how much I love daylight savings because I love having more sunlight in the late afternoons.
