Symbols

I'm planning on going through formal recruitment this fall, and there's a Chi Omega chapter on my campus. I went through already and was dropped, so I wanted to be more careful about how I present myself this time. I was reading about the sororities that have chapters on my campus on Wikipedia so I can make sure not to wear anything with their symbols, and not too much of any of their colors.

It said that in addition to owls, the skull and crossbones are also a symbol of Chi O. I have friends in the chapter whom I've seen with owl jewelry/accessories, but never any skull and crossbones. Is it just Wikipedia vandalism, or should I really steer clear of skull stuff?

TIA

I think you should steer clear of skull stuff, regardless of whether Chi Omega uses it.

Hint: rather than Wikipedia (which can be altered by anyone), go to the sororities' national sites if you want to find out about their colors, mascots etc. The address is usually nameofthesorority.org .

Good point!

Hopefully she won't show up donning Cardinal and Straw during rush!

Did you look at Chi Omega's badge on the Wiki's Cho Omega page?

And I'm sorry, but I just have to say -- the blue text is really hard to read.
