Rush as a Junior

Do people rush as juniors and get bids? I would think it is easier to get into a fraternity because one would know half the people in it since it would be comprised of juniors (in his class) and only seniors above him. All of the fraternities at my school do spring rush. I got rejected from both of the fraternities I rushed at this semester, should I re-rush them in the spring or next fall. I know this is a very broad question since each house is different, but it would help if you shared your experiences.

And btw, what are some of the best questions to ask to get the brothers interested in me as a rushee. Asking questions like where are you from, whats your major, etc, just isn't going to cut it.

This depends a great deal on the school.

Yes, you might know more of the people, but on the other side of the coin, they might not be comfortable having someone they know well in the pledge/brother dynamic.

Try looking at other fraternities besides the two that you rushed.

It depends on your school and the chapters there. I will tell you that 2.5 gpa for my fraternity is on the low end. We have chapters that have gpa's over 3.0. Follow the advice that 33 has given you.
