I will add Alpha Chi Omega to the list for UVU. I had not been notified of it previously.

I'm really glad to see all the expansion that is going on FOR EVERYONE!!! This makes me really happy!!!!
Sorry to make you wait, but I go by the school year. Since Phi Mu won't colonize until Fall 2011, they have to wait until next year () when I do the "2011-2012" list.

I'm not notifying you, but it seems a bit odd, no?

Delta Chi Colonizations Fall 2010:
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania; Bloomsburg PA
Kansas State; Manhattan, KS

Apparently we've chosen not to recolonize at Virginia Tech in the Fall. I'd heard a rumor that it might not happen, but I was hoping it wasn't true. I was looking forward to another VA chapter...

Is MVSU no longer an HBCU? I find this real interesting esp since a cousin of mine will be going there on a softball scholarship.

It's probably still an HBCU - there have been HBCUs before that opened for NPC/NIC expansion. That doesn't necessarily mean anyone will go there.

Wow, are they affiliating with a local or ground up colonization? This would be a recolonization, because Delta Chi was at Bloomsburg for about 3 months, when they absorbed local Gamma Epsilon Omicron. Then on Delta Chi's first "hell night" a pledge funneled a fifth of vodka and died. Recognition immediately revoked...don't know if they chartered before it happened or not. Good luck with Bloomsburg...it's a tough campus.

Oy. I would guess that if it were their first "hell night," and they'd only been there for 3 months they wouldn't have been chartered yet. I'm not sure if we're absorbing a local or starting from the ground up, but I'll look into it.

**Note - I have removed the Utah Valley University expansion that was originally posted. It has not been officially picked up by the sorority that I noted. The student who posted the information in her orientation description may be part of an interest group.
