hey 33girl! Oops, my bad - this morning I was watching TV and another promo for the Special came on - it looks like they are actually showing the MOVIE with special behind-the-scenes footage (and focus on the stars of the movie, it seems)!! So sorry for the lack of clarity in the first post .

33girl, well, at least you can say you were AROUND during the showing of the movie! I wasn't even alive then!

Great...as if going to my 20th high school reunion wasn't depressing enough!

This is like explaining to a kid what it was like to see Star Wars in a theatre...the first time around!

It was SO fun to watch! I really enjoyed the special before the movie...and well, the movie was hilarious!! I loved the ending, where it tells who went where, and who ended up doing what .

Huh, huh, that was cool. I can't believe that John Belushi has been dead almost 20 years - I was devastated when he died.

And may I ask - could that Ann Curry chick (the announcer) have sounded anymore like she had a sequoia tree up her butt??

I thought Animal House came out in '78, making it 23 years old? That's what http://www.imdb.com says for it anyway.

I don't know, Steve. NBC kept on calling it the 25th anniv. special!

I loved watching the part before the movie - I never knew it was filmed in actual fraternity houses and at the Univ of Oregon! (The Omega house was filmed in the actual Sigma Nu House.)

I watched it too. Pretty interesting that it was filmed in actual greek houses. I also noticed that for the most part, they refrained from using "frat" and said fraternity instead.
