I agree, most guys I know have the "if it's clean, i'll wear it" mentality too. But when they're buying those jeans that will either be clear or dirty one day (and other clothes for that matter) they usually want the cutting edge of style (or at least Abercrombie will do) and most of my guy friends always ask for a girls opinion (your mom doesnt count)
Seems that these days, men want to be the total package too - hot, funny, charming, and have great style. othing wrong with faking (natural) good style by asking others opinions

Thank you! That's exactly what I think.
Any thoughts on those 2nd jeans (the ‘Scifen’ ones), jillybean [or anyone]? I could really use the advice!

Not really, but that's my opinion. you have to make that decision.

Most good brands make jeans for men and women. Look into Wrangler. They'll work for you, I'm sure.

Wrangler - there's a name I haven't heard in a long time! Are you being sarcastic and calling me white-trash? I was only asking for help.
Oh well. Anyone who can offer opinion/advice particularly on the 2nd jeans pictured on page 1 on the thread, is welcomed. Thank you.:/

It's difficult to decide how a pair of jeans will look on you without a picture of you wearing them.

Possibly. :/ But I was rather hoping to get an opinion before I bought them to uhm help me make the right choice (as to if I should buy them)!
So the picture of the 'scifen' jeans'll have to do for now sorry! I'm ordering them (if I proceed) over the 'net - although the shops in Santa Clarita, CA; that's why getting an 'educated opinion' from y'all is desired.

Sometimes you gotta accept you need to reach out and ask for a 2nd opinion. Otherwise you find yourself in something that's clean, fits and would've been great a few years ago; even though you just pa$d for it and vould've done better if you'd only asked. You've pretty much said your fave brands like others though so thanks. I'll give some thought to Banana R. too.
Peace.

My apologies, I didn't mean to offend the inquiry of jean hunting, but I guess I'm a little surprised that trendy jeans are a major concern for the greek/college group. When I was buying mine, the only concerns I had was that they be blue and that they will hold up for those extra miles of wear and tear. Old Navy were the cheapest I found and they gave me more bang for my buck. However, they were hardly much to look at and definitely were not the eye catching clothes on the street.
I used to be a baggy clothes kind of person (I've grown up finally), so I really shouldn't be advising on fashion questions. Good luck with the shopping!

I like Luckys and Sevens. Seven's look good and they fit nice. I'd pay a little more for something that will last me, rather than the brands that cost less but I tear up in a few months.
