I could see how someone not from Oklahoma who doesn't have any NA ancestry might be surprised by the use of Native American imagery by the Panhellenic women at OSU. As for not using Lilly Pulitzer prints, the brand is not really predominant at OSU; I'd say about a third of the members in my chapter don't know what Lilly Pulitzer is.
Oh, and OSU's quota was 58; all 12 chapters met quota! Love seeing all the Bama pictures!!

I am actually from Oklahoma, born and raised (and live here now, though I didn't go to college here).
The whole thing still really rubs me the wrong way. "Honoring" Native Americans through Bid Day/Recruitment does not compute to me.
The choices aren't Lilly Pulitzer letters/no letters. Lots of chapters make up their own prints to use. I really dislike those "tribal" letters. I think the whole thing was poorly conceived. But of course it's in the past, and there's not much anyone can do about it.
