ATO

I pledged ATO at my college in New York my sophomore year and we finished pledging as a whole however we didn't get formally initiated. Nationals came in and revoked the charter before we could. I went through about 12 weeks of pledging and it was so difficult but we became one as a pledge class while learning everything we need to know about the fraternity along with experiencing the rituals along the way. I know I'm not nor ever was an initiated member but I worked my ass off for ATO and I love those letters and they have a deep meaning to me. Would initiated brothers or old heads be offended if I wore those letters? Could nationals do anything to me?

You don't even know the meaning of those letters or what they stand for. Seems like it would be pretty absurd and meaningless to wear them. No, the national office is not going to track you down & have you thrown in jail or anything. If any local ATO brothers find out, you would probably get a severe ass kicking.

If it means that much to you, why not contact ATO and see if you can be initiated elsewhere now? It can't hurt to ask.
