I think University of Rhode Island also has a date this fall but I'm not sure when. For MIT I think initiation sometime in early April. I do know that it’s not the same weekend as Carnival but other than that I can’t remember the date.
I think I’m going to go UNH one, its much closer for me to drive to. I’m going to a Boston AXO alumni event this weekend and I might be able to find out more information then.

Damn, AXO is initiating late at UMASS. I believe SK's initiation is this weekend. But don't quote me on that. Not that I know anything about their new member education or anything like that, it was more surprise that they are taking longer that's all.

All of the ZetaSig alumae were invited to AI and I am excited to announce that I finally have an initiation date! I will initiate at the Beta Rho chapter at American University on November 12!

Orchid Alum - I hope your initiation day into Alpha Chi Omega was wonderful and beautiful and the first of many wonderful memories with the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega.

I think kateshort was in a local and then when her local became an ADPi chapter, she became an ADPi.

That would be true. When a local sorority becomes a colony then chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, the sisters of the local are given the option of becoming sisters of ADPi.
ETA: Congratulations on your upcoming initiation! My highschool homeroom teacher was a ChiO at CMU, and was crushed that I didn't go ChiO!

OrchidAlum, congrats on your upcoming alum initiation.
I went to MIT, and if the current AXO sisters there are anything like the sisters who were there ~10 years ago, they are good people and I hope you will enjoy meeting them. (I hope you'll go and meet them regardless of whether your initiation takes place there.) BTW, the MIT AXO house is beautiful... I attended a reception there for the chapter's 10th anniversary, plus, when I was a rho chi, I got a full house tour.

I knew 3 AXO's in the Junior League....they were Texans gals and they were terrific. You're joining a wonderful sisterhood.

Thank you to everyone for all the kind words.
My initiation into Alpha Chi Omega was beautiful (despite the dreary weather outside ). I can't thank the ladies of the American University chapter enough for initiating us along with their Fall '06 New Member class. It was such a special experience.
To all of my new sisters:
LITB,
Sara
