Rushing a Frat in Spring as Junior

hello everyone, I am very interested in joining a fraternity at the University of Missouri. I have been playing football for the past 2 years at a school in Missouri and am greatly considering transferring at semester and I would really like to be in a frat.

As a junior who just turned 21 about 2 weeks ago, would my chances of getting a bid be low? and I here about people who rush when they are older only get bids from "not so popular" houses, is this true? I know that I have 3 years of school left for my major. this is my third year of school but officially grade wise Im still a soph.

Also how would I go rushing? would i be able to visit housing in the fall or would I have to be fully enrolled to rush?

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks

I didn't go to Mizzou, but I would guess having played football at the college level would be a positive at most chapters and that could trump any hesitation they may have about taking a sophomore/junior. Just be yourself and sell them on why you are transferring and want to join a fraternity.
