NORMAN — The longest-running fraternity on the University of Oklahoma campus has been suspended.

The Kappa Sigma national office suspended the OU chapter’s charter for one or more unspecified rules violations. The chapter was notified of the suspension on Dec. 31, said Catherine Bishop, the university’s vice president of communication.

This article makes it sound like they were suspended in 2009 for something that happened in 2005! I don't get it!!

“At the national conference in Texas on Jan. 31 the fraternity [Kappa Sigma at U. of Oklahoma] will appeal the withdrawal of its charter, according to a former officer.”
