Thumbs down Worst trends ever II

What are the worst trends? Preferably recent ones.

*Red lipstick and nail polish
*Wearing GOLD/PLATNIUM and fake "ice", we all know it's cubic z.!
*Inappropiate wear for school
*Dressing up for school: wearing 4 inch heels, heavy make up, etc.
*Appearing that you're going to hop on a surf-board in a second. *EDITED* ...unless you're somewhere like Hawaii, California, Florida, etc. where it's warm and have an ocean.
*Thug wear
*Cowboy boots, it's cool in Texas...NOT here.
*Yeah it was cool in middle school to take your walkman/discman and blast the music, but you're in college now, put it away!
*Those new jeans w/ the dirty look.
*LONG Manicured toes...well, showing your toes period
*White guys w/ shaved heads-it makes me paranoid, lol
*Black guys w/ straight hair
*Tube tops
*Those corny skanky tops from AE and A+F saying things like "pet my pussy(cat)" or "So many boys, so little time"
*dark brown lipliner with the clear
gloss inside
*Those mini-skirts that are about 5 inches long-often found at AE and A+F too

Gotta disagree... red lipstick and nail polish is not a trend, it's a classic. Not everyone can pull it off though. AND I like any man with a shaved head

I have to say that I hate big belts. Belts that don't fit through belt loops... what sense does that make? I suppose a few of them were cute initially but now that they've spread to Target and Wal-Mart, they are everywhere and they look kinda stupid.

those belts that are all glitter... not only are they really nasty now but they shed glitter everywhere... I bought one wore it once and all the glitter drove me crazy so I gave it to a friend... those things still bother me...

Excuse me, I take offense to that.

While it may not be trendy or cool wherever you're at, you have to keep in mind that it's what's comfortable in other places.

Yeah it is cool and trendy in Hawaii, where there's REAL surfing and warm weather...but not in the midwest when it's 40 degrees.

I think it's kind of lame to dress for a sport that it's obvious you're not about to do ... like wearing the surf thing in Minnesota. Or to wear a trendy jogging suit with platform shoes. Or (we see it out here) wearing your complete hiking outfit with fleece and hiking boots when the most strenuous thing you'll do all day is get up and go to the water cooler.

Ugh, I HATE those! If you're wearing new jeans that look like you just walked off a dirt farm or look as though you've worn out the ass of your pants, GET A NEW PAIR!!!

At my high school (a performing arts magnet school with NO majority), the stuck up rich kids (regardless of race) ALWAYS used the word "ghetto" when describing something. They never even had a definition when I asked about their connotation for the word.

Example:

"Look at the fonts from this school newspaper from ten years ago. They're all different; they look so GHETTO"

"I feel so GHETTO today"

"OMG! Your bracelet doesn't match your rings! And how can you wear those shoes with that top? You look so GHETTO today."

In addition:

*POGS - Especially when parents would only let their kids play for fun and not for keeps

*Dance Dance Revolution - So, at your prom, are you gonna lay out a mat to do all that shit? My cousin was on a DDR TEAM that competed in a LEAGUE that did CHOREOGRAHPED ROUTINES and went to COMPETITIONS all over California!

*Remember in the early 90s when the Orlando Magic had Shaq and Penny and SO MANY people were wearing Magic gear? Remember when SO MANY people wore Bulls Gear only for people to be ashamed to be Culls fans anymore? I can't stand sports trendsetters. Pick a team and stick with it!

*Henna Tatoos

*Razor Scooters

*Those big backpacks with the HUGE clocks on the back from the 80s

*Did anyone ever have a "Wiz Personal Locker" backpack? It was this huge rectagular back pack that you could store everything in like a locker and it was a b*tch to carry.

*Kids pulling their back packs on luggage carts
