Need advice - Greek neighbour
Hello,
I'm looking for an advice.
I'm living in Quebec, Canada and I have very nice neighbour, he is from Greece. I'm a quiet person and I like good relation with all my neighbours. So this neighbour has a wife and 3 small children, 5, 7, 8 years old. Recently he bought a trampoline for them and put it in his yard.
Now, every day the children are jumping, crying and make really a lot of noise all day long or when swimming in swimming pool. A mother speaks normally, but father always is crying with very loud voice to all members of his family, even if the children behaving well, or when speaking with his guests.... Is this cultural thing?
I don't know what to do - we are new in this area with my wife, this is residential neighbourhood, and looks like all other families around have a bad relation with this guy because everybody like quiet life, but not him.
I'd like to preserve a good relation with him, but in the same time I'd like to relax in my yard after all day of hard work. How to talk with him and not offend him at the same time?
Is this possible?
Any constructive advice welcome!
Stephane
