Greetings from Alabama. I've been searching for 41 years for any kin, friends, or acquaintances of the late George Linford Smith (Theta Delta, Columbia class of 1925) George died at the age of 55, after a splendid day of hunting in Rhinebeck, NY with friends. He choked on a piece of steak at the Sawdust Trail restaurant in Rhienbeck and suffered a heart attack on November 12, 1959. He was buried in Forrest Hills, Queens, NY. George was the president of the Kinney Shoe Company at the time of his death. If anyone has any connections with George or his family, please contact me and let me know.
