Checked out a new restaurant (not new, but new to us). Tuna tartare, steak tartare, crawfish & jalapeno capellini, and spicy ground shrimp & noodles, along with a nice bottle of wine.

MY idea meal.

Gooey Bun

Hot dog or bologna ground up. Add mayo, mustard, sweet relish, maybe a dab of horse radish. Mix well.

Hot dog or hoagie bun cut in 1/2. Layer meat mix on bottom 1/2, soft cheese on top 1/2.

Place in oven @ 350. Bake for @ 6-8 minutes. Makes crust crispy and melts cheese. May have to adjust time in oven.

Enjoy.

Hope you are staying hydrated and cool, Tom.

Tonight I will enjoy the salad buffet from a local eatery, with a percentage of my purchase going to a local charity organization.

This has been a busy month for our local charities to fundraise thru this method. I find it is easiest and kindest, ANY time I dine at an eatery I know often fundraises for charities, to state I will help fundraise with my purchase. If no org is fundraising that day, at least I asked.
