Calendar Fundraiser

My fraternity is considering starting a calender fundraiser. We go to a smaller schools of about 4000. We want to offer to offer the pictures to be of different sororities who either pay for (a small amount) or win a spot on the calender. Also we want to offer to sell days to different sports team and campus groups as a way to advertise for their events. We would try to sell the calendars to freshman and other members of the Greek community.

Has anyone done a similar fundraiser or have more ideas on how to make it effective?

a fraternity on my campus, Phi Sigma Kappa, got a calendar done and it highlights brothers from their fraternity. They sold the calendars for $10 each and they put their PSK letters hidden somewhere in the photos so you have to try to find them.
It was a hit with the sorority girls, but as far as marketing to the whole school, I don't think they would get many purchases. Our campus has only 2300 undergrad so it's pretty small but I do like your idea of 'selling' space to groups/sports teams to be highlighted in the calendar. good luck!

Also if the calendar highlights your fraternity it might be a great way to up ur recruitment, what better way to get ur name out there then have your face and letters hanging on the walls of hopefully hundreds of students. And you could still sell advertisement for events on ur campus.
