I am doing this from my phone cuz its so amazing. I am at a summer school and a fifth grader is rocking a delta sigma theta bag HARD along with her red t shirt over her white polo. the bag itself is nice....looks to be a top loading canvas sack that stands about two feet. there is an image of the US capitol. can't get close enough to read it but its probably a conference bag.

LOL...that would definitely catch me off guard. 
That bag is probably from the Delta Days at the Nation's Capitol.

I don't think I've ever looked at this thread, but I think that I see more license plate frames, decals, shirts, sweats, etc. from these two organizations than any others.

I thought so too. I would have gotten closer to inspect, but I didn't want the teacher to think I was stalking her. lol

this past monday which was...6/26, in the afternoon, around 2, 3pmish?

OMG
Two things could have happened:
1. Her mother is a soror and the daughter borrowed it or the mother didn't know she took it.
OR
2. It was an extra bag from Delta Days and someone gave it to her, without knowing the importance of it.
I have a cousin (who is not a soror) who lives in Atlanta and somehow gets a hold of all kind of nick-nacks. Somehow, she got my mom a Delta convention bag and band to go on your straw hat from Nationals four years ago. At least she gave it to a soror.

were you with someone? if it was you, you were with some other dude.
it was a black t-shirt, letters were in white (looks like a screenprinted shirt, kinda faded/worn). on the back of the shirt there was a poem or something with a silouette of a man with a fist up?

On board the M/S Imagination I saw several members of NPHC orgs including a Zeta Phi Beta and a gentlemen with two Omega brands on his arms (I'm assuming he's Omega Psi Phi).
Also while I was on stage performing in a special program for vocally talented guests I noticed a Theta Chi in the audience.
I didn't see any other Phi Mus, but I never do! :-(
