Can I switch between multicultural and panhellenic councils?

So... I have a question. I am currently in a mgc (multicultural greek council) sorority, but I'm starting to regret my choice. I rushed mgc because it would be cheaper than a phc (panhellenic council) sorority and because on of my close friends wanted to do mgc. However, after a semester as an active, I'm really starting to question my decision. My sorority is small, and dying out, and I don't get along well with my sisters. So... Can I switch from a multicultural sorority to a panhellenic sorority?

Depends on what's the norm on your campus. Do people do that? Maybe check with the Greek Adviser? There are certainly no NPC rules against it. You need to check your group's rules as well. Of course, if the chapter closes, that might help because sometimes other groups may look at you as someone who is flighty and doesn't know what she wants. It's often hard to overcome that....if that goes on where you are. Campus culture is a big determination with things like this.
